Sometimes we go through more than our fair share of challenges. Some of the tools I use when I feel trepidation or fear about something over which I have no control is I remember that there is always another perspective. I then work on remembering incidents in my life where I was afraid, and the situation turned out well.
Having perspective is thinking about something in a different way so that it doesn't take control of your mind and heart. If you can learn to see things from another angle, from a higher, more spiritual place, it has a calming effect, and reminds you that you've been through tough times and that this is a small problem in comparison to others you have faced.
You can't be in faith and fear at the same time. We all get afraid of the curveballs that life throws at us, but we learn to ride them out and do whatever footwork is necessary to resolve the situation. Talk to someone you trust, and you will almost always come away with a fresh perspective on life.
If you are going through a tough time, remember that it's temporary and you will get though it.
